Currently known as Dr Al-Amri & Co, the new BDO firm in Saudi Arabia was founded in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in 1979, and has offices in Dammam and Riyadh serving clients all around Saudi. The firm's fee income has shown steady increases year on year, with a 21% growth from 2007 to 2008. Assurance services account for 78% of their fee income, with business consulting and tax services accounting for 6% each, together with expertise in due diligence, internal audit, accounting and other services. With a headcount currently at 45, including 3 partners and 30 professional staff, the firm anticipates achieving double digit growth for yearend 2009, despite the difficult economic environment.
