On June 3rd 2010, BDO Uruguay hosted the 1st “Corporate Fraud Prevention” Conference at Regency Hotel Zonamérica. 100 people attended this event especially addressing Auditing Directors and Managers, people responsible for Fraud Prevention, Controllers, Administration and Finances Directors and Managers, Compliance officers – responsible for Ethics & compliance, as well as corporate Attorneys at Law.
Presentations were made by BDO experts from USA - Martina Rozumberkova-Glynn, Director of Forensic & Litigation Services - and Argentina - Gustavo Regner, FID Director
The agenda of the conference comprised “Corporate Fraud Prevention” concepts, US trends and relationship with Latin America, key factors for a successful Prevention Plan, efficient Plan Monitoring and Supervision.
